The Casa delle rondini is enviroment's friend.

Waste: we collect recycable materials separately, we compost organic waste and reuse it in the garden and in the wineyard; waste is also minimized through the use of returnable or refillable bottles and containers. We minimize packaging waste.

Water: on the water tank there are two flush buttons: the small one - for a small amount of water, the big one - for a lot of water. We have installed low flow taps on showers. For the garden, the wineyard and the shower in the garden we use the water collected in the cellar.

Energy: we reduce consumption through low energy lamps and through the towel agreement: less laundry to wash means saving water and detergents.

Breakfast: we offer garden's products (tomatoes and fruits), the grape juice of our wineyard cultiveted in biological way and, as possible (the milk, for example, is no longer produced here), local products the origin we know of them.

Transport: we support collective transport by supplying information and we offer car service from/to the train and boat station.

Light mobility: we supply informations about our walking paths and two mountain bikes are at guest's disposal.

Natural and cultural heritage: we supply informations on local historical and built heritage as well as natural areas of interest.
